Mumbai: After 16 cuts from censor board, Angry Indian Goddesses director Pan Nalin received threatening calls from various sources. This is what Pan Nalin said.

This is what happens when you make a movie by breaking the stereotypes. ‘Angry Indian Goddesses’ Director Pan Nalin is now facing the heat. He said that he is receiving lots of threatening calls as most of them are against the content of the film.

The movie features a ‘Lesbian’ love story and it is getting some positive critics everywhere. Pan Nalin also said that some groups of people found the content inappropriate for certain sections of the society. Most of them feel that the lesbian love story is against the society.

The story of the movie is about 7 Girls who attend a female bachelor party and how they discover themselves. The movie got released on 4th of December and already it got a bad slap from censor board with 16 cuts.

Regarding this issue, Pan Nalin said, “I won’t be scared by all these messages and calls. I got messages like, ‘How dare you blaspheme Hinduism through Angry Indian Goddesses? We will make sure you go Charlie Hebdo way!’ and What do you achieve by showing these Non-Sanskari Indians. I think I don’t have to say more.”
