Sonam Kapoor is happy with the response she received for her new release ‘Neerja’. The actress recently attended the FLO Film Festival and during an interaction with media she listed out her favourite female-oriented films. She said, “Bandini, Guide and hopefully Neerja.”

Bandidni (1963) was directed by Legendary Bimal Roy and the movie featured Nutan as a prisoner. Guide release on 1965 and it showcased Waheeda Rehman with a spell bound performance.

Regarding celebrating International Women’s Day on March 8th, she said, “I think Women’s Day should be celebrated every day. But I’m happy that we’re giving one day for Women’s Day. Women are multi-taskers and women can do anything they wish. So first we must accept that fact.

Men should accept that first. Women can even do a lot more than men. Even I have done women-centric movies like Aisha, Khoobsurat and Dolly Ki Doli. I am gradually moving towards my goal. I am happy with ‘Neerja’ right now. The response for the movie has been phenomenal.”
