“The most objected thing by the nation is adopting the extra charges by the telecom operators. Now, Airtel did the same which lead to the issue throughout the nation on Airtel VoIP plans.”

The very foremost telecom player, Bharti Airtel has a step lead on everyone’s foot. It has been backtracked on its both prepaid and post-paid plans to charge in addition to the cost at present for the data balancing and the internet voice calls or VoIP service that which is on hand all the way through the applications such as the Skype and Viber. “In view of the news reports that a consultation paper will be issued shortly by by TRAI on issues relating to services offered by OTT (over the top content) players including VoIP, we have decided not to implement our proposed launch of VoIP packs,” Bharti Airtel said in a statement today.

Airtel VoIP Plans

It clearly objected by the nation that Airtel backtracks on plans to charge you extra for VoIP calls. The Bharti Airtel operator had formerly announced to charge the VoIP calls on disburses as you go source, at criterion data packs like:

  • 4 paisa / 10 KB on the 3G network
  • 10 paisa / 10 KB on the 2G network

On the other side, it had even declared unique VoIP packs on both 2G and 3G network basis. Airtel gave a statement on behalf of this as, “we have no doubt that as a result of the consultation process a balanced outcome would emerge that would not only protect the interests of all stakeholders and viability of this important sector but would also encourage much needed investments in spectrum and roll out of data networks to fulfil the objective of digital India.”

The current government had primarily said that it would give a deep eye view into the that Airtel company’s plans and the policies they has been adopted during a long period of time to allege for those kind of services that which have been at no cost while Airtel has been tending a lot of public objection and protest on the social media networks for earlier period of few days.
