Madhavan will be playing the lead role in the official remake of super successful and award winning Malayalam film Charlie.

Actor Madhavan, who made his comeback to Tamil film industry, is now getting back with another film after the success of Irudhi Sutru. He is a very natural actor and made so many Blockbusters in his career. He attracted countless fans with his mind blowing performance.

The craze for Malayalam films in Tamil Nadu has gone up. Many Malayalam films do well at the Tamil Nadu box office while some of them even get remade in Tamil. Dulquer Salmaan’s Charlie was one such film which was both critically acclaimed and commercially successful.

As reported earlier the Tamil remake rights of Charlie have been purchased by Prateek Chakravorty and Shruti Nallappa, who are planning to produce the movie under the banner of Pramod Films.

Earlier this film was directed by Martin Bragade and the script was written by R. Unni. The film stars Dulquer Salmaan and Parvathy. Gopi Sundar has composed the music for the film. Pramod Films will make the production and the original director will wield the megaphone for this too.
