Bollywood ace director cum producer Karan Johar has finally came to the limelight and broke his silence on working with Pakistani artists in his upcoming film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

ADHM is an upcoming romantic drama featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai and Pakistani actor Fawad Khan in lead roles. There was a huge controversy on Ae Dil Hai Mushkil for taking Pakistani actors in the film, and he faced severe criticism about this.

Earlier few Political Parties and common public condemned the director and made protests at his office in Mumbai. The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena youth wing made huge protests against the film for taking Pakistani actors and said that we would not allow the movie to release. They already called a ban on the movie due to the presence of Fawad Khan in it.

Speaking to the media, the Director of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil Karan Johar sent a video message. He said that he was deeply hurt with the agitations and he won’t work with Pakistani actors in future.

Interesting Karan mentioned to Pakistan only as neighboring country in the message. The director also expressed hope that they won’t have to face any issues regarding the release. In a video statement, he revealed that why he has remained silent for the past two weeks.

He said that “there is a reason for being silent for two weeks. I deeply hurt and felt pain for agitations on me. A few people would believe that I am anti-national and this hurt me a lot. Today I say it with strength, for me my country first and nothing else before my country.

I always believe that the best way to convey your loyalty is by spreading love to all and always doing that with my movies and my hard work. When I shot the film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil last year, the situation was different.”

“Hope you understand my situation and please give support to me and my film,” he added.
