One of the most destructive and aggressive batsman of the 21st century is Virender Sehwag. He is a famous Indian cricket player and the significant member of Indian National Cricket Team since 1999. He was nicknamed ‘Veeru/Viru’ by his teammates and also his fans alike.

Sehwag holds the record for the highest test score of 309 runs against Pakistan in Multan.

Sehwag won numerous awards for his contributions to the Indian Cricket, which includes the prestigious Arjuna Award in 2002, several Man of the series in test matches and many Man of the match on both ODI and Tests.

  • The second fastest century in ODI, scoring 100 runs in 69 balls against New Zealand in 2001.

  • He has crossed 8000 runs in ODIs.
