After Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandra Babu Naidu biopic. Now its turn to another political biopic on Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandra Shekhar Rao that has been in the making for years and now it is taking shape.

From last two years, few prominent writers from Telangana region are busy in writing the script. Mentioning that the biopic of AP CM N. Chandra Babu Naidu, titled ‘Chandrodayam’ is in production now.

Pasupuleti Venkata Ramana directed this movie, and the film is set to release in the month of December. The cast include are Brahmanandam, Tanikella Bharani, Jayaprakash Reddy, Ravi Babu and much more.

The software engineer-turned-film director, Madhura Sridhar Reddy has decided to make a biographic movie on KCR, as the Telangana Chief Minister is popularly known. The film produced by Raj Kandukuri under his banner Dharmapada Creations, which recently released Telugu hit film ‘Peli Choopulu’.

“Unlike other biopics, the film does not deal with the childhood of KCR and his rise in politics, but it primarily deals with how he led from the front the Telangana movement and galvanized millions of people to wage a peaceful movement that culminated in the formation of Telangana state,” said by Sridhar.

KCR, the man behind the formation of Telangana State, his hard work and passion made the dream of 15 years come true to the Telangana people.  The film will cover the important aspects of politician’s role in Telangana movement and milestone events such as fast unto death and million march.

Sridhar has clarified that it won’t going to be the documentary on KCR and Telangana movement. It is an entire feature film that mainly focuses on the political scenario in the state between 2000 when the KCR floated the Telangana Rashtra Samiti and 2014 when the Telangana State was formed.

Currently, the movie makers are in search of lead cast and crew and also simultaneously working on pre-production. As per the reports, shooting will commence from 2nd June 2017. i.e., on Telangana Formation Day.  The film will release on 17th February 2018 on the eve of KCR’s birthday. As biopics are a trend now, the biopic on Nara Chandra Babu Naidu and K. Chandra Shekhar Rao will also set on floors soon.
