NTSE 2017 admit card

The National Talent Search Examination is conducted for the students in Class X to identify the nurture talent. Every year the examination is conducted in two stages: Stage-I which is State Level and Stage-II for National level. Now for the Stage-I exam, officials has released the NTSE 2017 admit card on their state-wise official websites or also refer ncert.nic.in.

Students who have applied for the notification of 2016-17 can now download their NCERT National Talent Search Exam 2016 Call Letter. Students qualified in this exam will get a scholarship of prescribed amount as per the officials. Any student studying in Class X is eligible for this scholarship programme.

The selection for this exam will be done by States or Union Territories and the candidates who qualified in the Stage-I will be called for Stage-II exam which was conducted by the NCERT (National Council of Educational Research and Training).

The National Council of Educational Research and Training is an autonoums organization of the Government of India which was established on 1st September 1961 literacy and has its main hub at Sri Aurbindo Marg, New Delhi. The Council was formed by merging seven existing national government institutions.

The NTSE Stage 1 Hall Ticket 2016-17 consists of candidate’s information which includes roll number, name and other particulars. It also contains exam information like date, time and venue of the exam. Once the roll numbers are allotted to the candidates, the NTSE 2017 admit card will be issued at the office of Chief Superintendent by post.

Any candidate without valid National Talent Search Exam 2016 Call Letter will not be allowed into exam centre to the write the exam. The exam is a multiple choice type test of SAT and MAT based in paper-pencil pattern for both the papers.

The questions will be given on Mental Ability Test (MAT), Language Test (LT) Hindi/English and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) which is conducted for 100marks. Candidates can download the NTSE Stage 1 Hall Ticket 2016-17 from the state’s official website.

Steps to download NTSE 2017 admit card:

  • Candidates have to visit the respective state official website or nic.in.
  • Select the NTSE 2017 admit card download link and enter required details.
  • After entering the details in the provided fields click on submit button.
  • Within few seconds your admit card will appear on the screen. Download it and take a print out of it.

Important Dates

Examination in Mizoram,Meghalaya, Nagaland and Andaman & Nicobar Islands: 5th November, 2016 (Saturday)

Examination in All other states and UT: 6th November, 2016 (Sunday)

Examination in Bihar & West Bengal: 13th November, 2016 (Sunday)
