June, 25: Facebook allows its user to use Messenger with just a phone number, now the users can sign up for its Messenger app without an account.

Now the Facebook users can use their messenger app just signing up with a first name, last name and phone number. The feature is currently working in Canada, the United States, Peru or Venezuela.

Facebook updated the messenger app to give a best messaging experience to users with a fun and easy way to connect and express themselves with friends and contacts. With this update, user can enjoy the all features which are available on Messenger including photos, videos, group chats, voice and stickers and more. To have fun with all these feature need is phone number.

Around 600 million users are using this mobile messaging service, recently some more useful features are added to this service including games and video calling.

How it works:

• When you open Facebook Messenger, welcome screen as new option i.e. “Not a Facebook?”
• From this option, you can easily signup with your name, phone number and a photo.

If users have Facebook account along with this messenger, they can easily message with their Facebook friends and contacts and access their Facebook messages.
