Indian Space Research Organization, ISRO recently launched GSAT-15 communication satellite. As source reveals, it can help solving problems in Civil Aviation Sector in India.

ISRO commenced the 3, 164 kg GSAT-15 on Wednesday; it is an India’s latest communication satellite which has been started by Arianespace’s. The initial role of it is to broadcast direct to home and expand the GPS-aided augmented navigation payload in L1 and L5 bands.

GSAT -15 is the 19th payload for ISRO started by Arianespace. After their retirement, it will be restored the ageing Insat 3A and 4B spacecraft. “GSAT-17 and GSAT-18 will be started by Arianespace next year,” said,   ISRO Satellite Centre director Mylswamy Annadurai published this thing.

Countdown has been started of 11hours 3 minutes and at 3.04 am Ariane 5 lifted on Wednesday.  Afterwards, at 43 minutes and 24 seconds the GSAT-15 flight separated from the Ariane 5 upper stage.

MCF i.e. Master Control Facility of Isro has taken command and control of GSAT -15 immediately after it separation from started vehicle at Hassan in Karnataka. The statement that satellite was performing normally, this type of checks of primarily showed.

The satellite will be placed in geostationary orbit i.e. 36, 000 km above the equator after performing manoeuvres upcoming days. The antenna reflectors and two solar arrays of GSAT-15 will be organised after the time of ending the orbit raising operations.

This year nearly 5th flight of Ariane and it carried the 5, 798 kg Arabsat 6B satellite. This will give telecommunication services to Africa, Central Asia and West Asia.
