Karnataka: KPSC has announced the job notification recently for gazetted probationer’s positions in various departments for 440 posts, but got around 2.67 lakh applications for written examination.
The Karnataka Public Service Commission has announced vacancy notification recently for gazetted probationer’s positions in various departments such as revenue, commercial taxes and police departments. KPSC’s examination controller R.Venkatesh told IANS that there only 440 gazetted probationer’s vacancies, but as per official news around 2.67 lakh candidates across Karnataka State are ready to attend for preliminary examination which is scheduled on 19th April 2015.
KPSC scheduled to conduct the preliminary examination at 12 centres and 625 sub-centres in 10 districts and two taluks across the state. Examination controller R.Venkatesh advised candidates to carry the admission card and pen to examination hall without fail.
The board has appointed 125 class-1 officers as flying squads to observe the examinations across state without any malpractice. The board has also allotted 45 IAS, IPS, IAF and Karnataka Administrative Service officers to monitor examination and to ensure peaceful conduct of exams.
KPSC has also arranged video recorders at all examination centres to record conduct of exams. It has strictly informed that all candidates who are willing to write an examination on 19th April 2015 should not to bring mobile phones and electronic gadgets such as Bluetooth devices.
KPSC has arranged the police security at all examination venue across the state to maintain peace and law & order.
