Assam Police Constable DEF APRO Exam Pattern
The recruitment process for Police posts is in three stages and total is for 100 marks i.e;
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – 40 Marks
Written Test – 50 Marks
Extra-curricular activities and special skills – 10 marks
Physical Standard Test
The Physical Standard Test is nothing but Measurement of the Height, Weight & Chest (Only Males). These measurements will be done after the candidate will be inspected by a Medical Officer for preliminary check-ups like knock knee, vision test, color blindness test, flat foot, varicose vein, physical deformities, etc.
Once the candidate clears the PST he/she must appear for Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
Physical Efficiency Test
Candidates who clear the Physical Standard Test (PST) will be called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET). After PET, the written test will be conducted for those candidates who cleared PST and PET.
Written Test
The written test will be for 50 Marks which consists of 100 Multiple Choice Questions. There will be no negative marking for the wrong answer. The questions will be asked on the level of Class IX and X.
