Chennai: Actress Parvathi in a recent Interview told that Don’t call her name along with her Caste Name Menon. She seriously reacted by calling her with a cast name.

Actress Parvathi is in great distress due to the fact that her name is getting added with her caste. This all happened in a sudden in the film industry. The actress is quite uncomfortable about the issue.

Recently she made a talk to the press regarding this, mentioning that she does not want to be called by her caste name Menon. She never opts for caste identities and does not like it too. If a caste is what determines by identity I do not need it, says the actress.

Parvathi was a leading star in both Malayalam and Tamil after her films like Chennaiyil Oru Naal, Mariyaan, and Uthama Villain. Interestingly, when another actress by the name of Parvathi made ingress into the industry it all changed abruptly, by the industry distinguishing both the actresses by their surname. Subsequently, Parvathy became Parvathy Menon while the latter was called Parvathy Nair. This dissented former a lot.

On stating it, she added that these choppy people from film circuit have made it all happen and she wants to avert from being called Parvathy Menon.
