Here is latest news to all the IBPS aspirants. There will be a Psychometric test in place of Interview for the IBPS Junior Level posts. Interviews may replace with IBPS Psychometric Test to be held soon.

In this regard, the Finance Ministry has asked all the public sector banks to strengthen the Junior Level written examination. In a recent meeting, the IBPS secretaries chaired by the cabinet secretary have taken a decision to replace the Interviews with Psychometric Test.

A notification has released from the government of India regarding no interview for IBPS Clerk V and also for central government jobs in Class-III and IV categories. As per official notification, from  January 1, 2016 there will be no interview for all junior level posts in the government of India ministries, departments, attached and subordinate offices, autonomous bodies and PSUs. But the IBPS has thinking to conduct the Psychometric Test instead of Interviews.  So, all students are advised to make a note of this latest announcement made by IBPS.

Few days back, the CWE V clerk Preliminary and Mains examination was conducted in the month of December/January 2016 by IBPS. The result of preliminary exam were released and Main yet to release. After announce of Clerk Mains result, the IBPS may conduct Psychometric Test for final selection of applicants. So, students have to know about this test and get ready to face this test.

Psychometric tests generally consist of Numerical Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning and Diagrammatic Reasoning tests and Situational judgment tests. The psychometric test is a level playing field.  This test is to check the fair way of comparing different candidates’ strengths regardless of educational background.
