Shyam Kanhaiya Chouhan is an assistant carpenter and he is the member of the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE).

He requested the body to help him as he was in need of money badly. The body immediately wrote to Salman Khan’s NGO, ‘Being Human’ and they mentioned that the carpenter is unable to afford the cost of heart treatment.

Immediately the actor’s NGO came forward and they offered financial help of Rs.25,000. A source inside the body said Chouhan used to make Rs.750 per day. But that happens only when he has the work. Other days he runs out of money. He also approached other donors.

But it was Salman’s Being Human organization which made the payment to the hospital. Treatment has started for his daughter. A senior spokesperson from the FWICE said, “Salman Khan’s NGO responded a fortnight after the federation forwarded Chouhan’s letter to them.”
