India: Union Public Service Commission – Candidates who passed UPSC Main Exam 2015 will not get their call letters for personality test through post; instead they need to download it.

 Candidates who have cleared civil services (main) examination, Union Public Service Commission need to download their call letters without waiting for a post to come. Official statement said, “Candidates who have qualified the personality test of civil services (main) examination, 2014 are advised to download their e-summon letter and its attachments for the personality test. No summon letter is being sent by post”.

It clearly mentions that UPSC Personality Test call letter will not be sent through post and need to the downloaded in order to attend personality test as next round after qualifying written examination.

It is said to the candidates who finished their examination for Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS) and need to undergo personality test after preliminary, main exams. After results, every year, UPSC sends call letter through post. But now, the aspirants need to download .

Official said that the personality test is likely to commence on Monday and qualified students should download their call letter for entry.

They also said, “The qualified candidates who are unable to download their e—summon letters from the Commission’s website at least five days before the commencement of the said personality test or interview should immediately contact the Office of the Commission”.

Some of the original certificates that UPSC said to include at the time of personality test are as follows

  • Claims pertaining to age
  • Educational qualifications
  • Community
  • Physical handicap
  • Questionnaire,
  • Attestation form
  • TA form

Note: The formats of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class and Physically Handicapped certificates and questionnaire, attestation form and TA Form, etc. can be downloaded from website of Commission.
