The latest buzz of Kollywood is something bad news for the entire film industry. A television channel, Polimer was accused on the basis of piracy complained by the local distributor in Coimabattire in the police station. The cameraman of the satellite channel was caught red-handedly while recording the Theri movie in the theater. Asking upon the explanation, the cameraman took the name of his channel’s boss.

As per the police complaint lodged by the local distributor, the cameraman entered into the theatre by showing press ID. He recorded the movie for nearly half-an-hour time. The issue was taken by the local distributor to the Tamil film producers council (TFPC) and complained that the TV channel was not giving any positive response on this issue. The TFPC has decided not to give any support for the TV channel from now.

The movie also faces the threat from Ilayathalapthi’s anti-fans. Some of them have recorded some parts of the movie and posted the videos in Twitters. The illegal distribution and piracy have a negative impact on the producers financial returns. The issue has to be tackled in a serious manner by all the groups in the society as it is the responsibility of every single individual who dreams of fair and friendly environmental society.

In the recent times, in spite, of repeated measure and appeals from all over the celebrity groups, the shameful act of piracy still exists and growing at a rapid rate.
