Datsun launched redi-GO in the small car segment; it seems the competition among the carmakers just doesn’t seem to end.
The car makers have brought about a reform in the hatchback segment like Renault bringing ‘Kwid’ and now Nissan’s Datsun in the line to launch its game changer redi-GO.
Datsun India has released the official design of the car entry-level hatchback that is slated to hit the market this year. This is expected to be a game changer for the automaker that has been struggling to gain ground in the mass market car space. Datsun is basically an automobile brand owned by Nissan. Datsun’s original production run began in 1931. From 1958 to 1986, only vehicles exported by Nissan were identified as Datsun.
It is creating a buzz in the automobile market. The small car is powered by 800 cc and three-cylinder petrol engine with 54 PS power along with 72 Nm of torque. The Mileage as declared by the company sources is 25.17 kmpl. This is the most fuel efficient small car segment if on roads figure out to be correct.
Datsun is hitting the market with a price tag of around 2-30 to 4 lakhs.
