Here some interesting latest updates on Suriya next film with popular actor cum director Sundar C. It will be the biggest film in the actor career.

Actually from long time director Sundar C is planning to make a historical movie with Tamil actor Suriya. But time does not permit to do so. Recently he revealed good news about this film.

As per source, director Sundar C says that this project is going to be bigger than Blockbuster Baahubali: The Beginning and costlier than Rajinikanth’s Robo 2.0. And it took nearly 8 months to complete the Pre-production work and it will go on floors in March 2017   and will be released on 2019. This film includes Suriya huge star cast and very popular director Sabu Cyril. Visual effects will be taking care by Kanal Kannan and the film will be shot in different locations like US, Bombay, Hyderabad and some other locations.

Historical movies are minting huge revenues at the box-office like ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Baajirao Mastani’. Balayya’s 100th film ‘Gautami Putra Saatakarni’ too is a historical drama. Even Hrithik is coming up with ‘Mohenjodaro’ directed by Ashutosh Gawarikar famous for films like ‘Lagaan’ and ‘Jodhaa Akbar’. It looks like this is the new trend these days.
