Ace Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has made sensational comments on Indian winners at Rio Olympics 2016.

Popular director Ram Gopal Varma who always in the news for making controversial comments is once again come up with interesting statements on Rio Olympics 2016 Indian winners. The whole India is celebrating the victory of PV Sindhu and Sakshi Malik in Rio Olympics 2016. But interesting Ram Gopal Varma has made controversial comments on both the Olympic winners.

As we know, PV Sindhu won Silver medal in Badminton and Sakshi Malik won Bonze in Wrestling from India at Rio Olympics 2016. India registered only two medals this time. Ace filmmaker ram Gopal Varma feels that people are reacting in a loud way for getting two medals and also said that it is very shameful that a nation of more than one billion population could produce only two medals at Olympics compared to USA and other countries.

He made comparisons with other countries saying North Korea, a country with 5 million people has won 9 gold medals and America with 32 million people managed to win 46 gold medals. He mocked the fact that Indians always exaggerate things. RGV questioned if we celebrate just two medals then what must America do who clinched 46 gold medals and 37 silver medals at the Rio Olympics?
