Snapdragon X50 5G Modem is a milestone in the whole new era of Cellular Connectivity. Qualcomm has unveiled the world’s first 5G Modem Chipset at the on-going 4G/5G Summit in Hong Kong. The Snapdragon X50 indicates the baby step towards the 5G. Qualcomm’s X50 Processor is 100 times faster than the current wireless technology and expected to be ten times speedier than the Google Fiber. But Qualcomm is paving a path for 5G in the mobiles rather than in wireless home connections.
