The common man who is busy in his daily works won the prestigious title. The 25-year old G. Balakrishna who is bodybuilder and water tanker driver from Bangalore won the title of Mr. Asia at 5th Phil-Asia bodybuilding championships that took place in the Philippines.

Bodybuilder G Balakrishna is a water truck driver, and he is working hard daily on his duty to serve water to several areas on Bangalore Metropolitan. However, his dedication and passion made him a big man now.

G Balakrishna Bodybuilder worked hard, and he practiced nearly six hours a day at home daily. He has been trained by Champions Sangam Chougla from Mumbai and Munish Kumar from Punjab.

Bodybuilder G Balakrishna told to media after winning the prestigious title. He said “I am jubilant and so proud of my success. If anyone supports me financially, I will repeat it more often. I dedicate this award to my mother Parvathamma and brother Rajesh who have been helped me to achieve this.”

Balakrishna is a big fan of Hollywood actor and famous bodybuilder Arnold Schwarzenegger. He inspired after watching him, and he was known as Arnold Schwarzenegger of Whitefield by locales.

“I am doing two jobs. Yes, in the morning session I am water tank driver, and in the evening, I am a gym instructor. I did a lot of hard work to get this title. I maintained a strict diet daily that includes 750g of Chicken, 25 eggs, 300gms of rice, 200gms of fresh vegetables along with fish and fruits.

G Balakrishna also won Mr. Universe under 24 junior competitions in Germany in 2013 and Mr. Universe title in the same category at the world championships in Greece in 2014.

“I am euphoric about this. Even though winning the championship, I will always worry about funds. Without Government support, I will face problems to participate in bodybuilding competitions outside the country.” He added.
