Mumbai, June 12: Nestle India for Maggi Noodles controversy has approached the Bombay High Court for a judicial review of Food Safety Regulator FSSAI’s order about the quality of its instant noodles.

FDA filled the case against Nestle India and famous personalities who promoted the product, but the company tested the sample of Maggi noodles and reported that is safe to eat. To resolve all these issues the company has approached the Bombay High Court to take the judicial review of the order which is passed by the Food Safety and Standards of Act 2011 on June 5th and against the petition Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Maharashtra ban on instant noodles.

The Bombay High Court has decided to hear Nestle company on Friday. Earlier the FSSAI had directed the Nestle Company to withdraw their nine variants of Maggi instant noodles and said that those are unsafe for human consumption. The FSSAI asked them to stop the further production and sale of the same.

With the statement of FSSAI, several states banned the Maggi products, then the company Nestle India had recalled the product from the market and tested the samples both internally and externally and proved that lead levels are safe to eat.

The Maharashtra government is also banned Maggi Instant noodles after some samples were found to contain lead above the specified limit. So the Nestle India has requested the Bombay High court for judicial reviews to resolve all these issues. The court may give the announcement about this issue today.
