Hyderabad, July 27: Telangana government has announced notification for 15000 vacancies in various government departments and more 10,000 vacancies will be announced over next week.

Finally the waiting time for Telangana job notification has over, the state government has announced 15,000 vacancies in 15 various departments and it has been approved by state chief minister K Chandra Shekar Rao on Saturday. The state government is also relaxed the upper age limit by ten years, the maximum age limit has been increased from 34 years to 44 years.

The state government has announced the first phase job notification for the posts in Police, Fire, Municipal Administration, Medical and Health department, Stamps and Revenue, Roads and Buildings, Transport and GHMC and so on. As per details around 8000 jobs will be filled in police and fire department for constable and SI positions and more 2,681 jobs will be filled up in Energy department and 4,300 jobs in other departments.

Total recruitment process will be done through Telangana Public Service Commission (TSPSC) except police and energy department recruitments. The vacancies in police department will be handled by State Level Police Recruitment Board and the jobs in Energy department will be filled up by TS Genco, TS Transo and Discoms.

Chief Minister Rao directed the officials to continue the recruitment process soon. On June 2 on the occasion of Telangana formation day, he promised for 25,000 jobs for this year, in first phase he approved for 15,000 vacancies and remain 10,000 vacancies will approved by CM over next week.
