Ace Tamil filmmaker Gautham Menon, who is known for decent films as a director is ready to showcase his new talent this time. The director is doing a full-length antagonist role in upcoming Tamil film ImaikkaNodigal starring Atharva and Nayanthara in lead roles. However, this is not yet confirmed officially, but rumors are flying in the film circles.

Gautham is currently busy in his upcoming directorial AchchamEnbathuMadamaiyada and after that, he may join in this shoot. He is well-known for his surprise cameo roles in many movies and doing an antagonist role is something new from the director.

Earlier, Gautham Menon was approached to do a villain role in the recent Malayalam film Jacobite Swargarajyam starring Premam actor Nivin Pauly in a lead role. However, he missed that character, and it went to actor Ashwin who had done a good job and perfectly justified that role.

The movie directed by Ajay Gnamamuthu of Demonte Colony fame ImaikkaNodigal has a good script, and the director is still busy in finalizing script work. Closed sources said that Gautham had given a nod to him after reading the script.

However, director Ajay denied the news and said that “This is completely false and how really I don’t know who spread these rumors. I am still busy in developing the script. I have 10 artists in my mind for this role and Gautham is one among them. Till now I didn’t approach him”.

Meanwhile, the talented director is busy in the shoot of super hit track Thalli Pogathey from AchchamEnbathuMadamaiyada. The whole team is in shooting of the song in Bangkok, and the film will release in this September.

Gautham Menon is also working for another film NokkiPaayumThotta starring Dhanush in the lead role. For the first time, he will be teaming up with Dhanush.
