The Telugu short film Gurukulam-The School which has already won several awards will be screening at the Indywood film festival in Hyderabad at 5 PM on September 26. The popular short film was written by Srian and directed by Shiva Kumar BVR.

The 15 minutes short film showcased the importance of education in everyone’s life. Gurukulam is nothing but a school is a story of a father and son. Father who belongs to backward class neglected the education, and later he regrets the fact that his life was spoiled due to the negligence of his education. The short film showcased the feelings of the uneducated father when his elder son too neglects education.
To share his happiness to media, director Shiva Kumar BVR says “I would like to take meaningful and social oriented short films. Gurukulam touched my heart, and it is an honest short film. The film got recognition to be screened at Indywood film festival. Really I feel proud and very happy to be the part of the film festival. Hope Gurukulam may get much more awards in future.”
Produced by Naga Sudha, Satish Reddy Allam, and Latha Sree, Gurukulam music has been composed by Gokul Abhishek and Anup Bhandari. The camera work was so good, and Sai Sriram handled the camera work. Already Gurukulam Telugu Short Film has screened at many international film festivals and won lots of honors.
