Mumbai, June 10: Big-B Amitabh Bachchan has revealed story behind his signing for ‘Mr Natwarlal’ movie which completes its 36th year now. He said that is a nightmare to him.

Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan turned as a singer with the movie ‘Mr Natwarlal’ in 1979 which is directed by Rakesh Kumar. The movie completed its 36 years on the occasion, bib-b revealed story behind his singing for this.

He had faced tough time to convincing music director of movie Rajesh Roshan for not to make him as a singer for film. He said that recording process of the song ‘Mero Pass Aao’ is nightmare for him.

72 old years actor posted in his blog about the situation of his debut singing and said that “I was shocked to me when I heard the news that I was sing for first time my own background song ‘Mere Pass Aao…’ and scared with the proposal, I fought with the music director for long hours that I would not do it because I simply could not. But then that is another story”.

“Really it was nightmare, but when it finished, the well-known sound recordist Ghosh babu telling me I should sing more often and I accepted that with large pinch of Salt and even now am continuing singing by giving pain to all listeners” he added.

The song was recorded at Mehboob Studios, in the recording theatre, which is now using for film shoots or marketing still shoots and TV sets for interviews.

Mr Natwarlal is an action comedy movie directed by the Rakesh Kumar and starred with Rekha and Amjad Khan. After this, the Bollywood star did not look back and lent his voice to many more songs including ‘Jumma Chumma’, ‘Khaike Paan Banaras Wala’ ‘Hori Khele Raghuveera’ and recently ‘Piddly Si Baatein’ from shamitabh movie.
