New Delhi, July 1: IIT JEE Main ranks are available online now, released by CBSE at jeemain.nic.in and cbseresults.nic for both Paper-1 and 2. Check details here for further IIT JEE admission process.
Finally waiting time IIT JEE (main) rank is almost over, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced JEE (main) ranks for paper-1 and paper 2, to begin the process of admissions in to IITs, NITs and IITs. Candidates can check their ranks at official website today after 12 noon.
As per officials “CBSE has announced the All India ranks of JEE main 2015 late night Tuesday, ranks CD has been handed over to the central seat allocation board 2015 (NIT Patna) for counselling purpose. Candidates who are anxiously waiting for Paper-1 and Paper-2 ranks can check at authorized sites www.jeemain.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in after 12 noon today”.
For this academic year over 11 lakh students are eligible to attend counselling process to get admission in any of 85 technical institutes including 18 IITs and 31 NITs. The process of JEE (main) seat allotment for meritorious students for 2015-16 academic session will be assisted by NIT Patna.
CBSE official said that “the announcement of all-India ranks was postponed due to the failure of six-seven school boards to furnish the particulars and weightage of the individual students. CBSE asked them to submit details by June 25, but they could not do so which led to the delay in announcing the ranking list”.
Finally CBSE received details from school board and announced the ranks on Tuesday night and ranks are available at main site after 12 noon today. As per Joint Seat Allocation Authority 2015, registration for admission process and filling of choices in their portal can begin within two to three hours after the announcement of ranks.
As per reviewed schedule online registration and choice filling process will be continued till 3rd July and the first round of seat allocation would be announced on July 5th.
