Mumbai: Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is to play a role of the former president Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam in an upcoming biopic directed by Nila Madhab Panda.

Director Nila Madhab Panda, who is well known to all with the National Award winning movie “ I am Kalam” is set to direct a biopic based on the life story of great educationist, missile man and people’s president Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam to paid honor to late former president.

The director said that “Now Kalam is no more, it’s very important that his message be carried forward, so I will start work on my film very soon. But the big question of director is who will justify the role of Dr. Kalam? The only answer for this question comes in his mind is Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan.

Bib B Amitabh who has large number of fan following and also seriousness to perform a great idealistic like Dr. Kalam. The director plans to carry out hard homework to direct a movie about the greatest son of Mother India.

As per director, Amitabh Bachchan is the only person to justify about the role of Missile Man Dr. Kalam who is inspiration to large number of people. More details about biopic will be announced.
