Hyderabad: Tata Sons chairman Ratan Tata will inaugurate the country’s largest technology incubation center T-Hub at Hyderabad on September 7th, 2015.

The Telangana State government has developed a technology incubation center T-Hub over an area of 60,000 sqft of Hyderabad to encourage the innovation in space and young industrialists. The center will be inaugurated by Tata chairman and prominent businessperson Ratan Tata on 7th September 2015.

As per officials the Technology Incubation center ‘T-Hub’ has developed mainly to promote start-ups and innovators and this is countries of the biggest technology incubation center across 60,000 square feet to accommodate around 800 start-ups. Officials are planning to develop second phase of T-Hub with built-up space of 30,000 sqft to promote around 5,000 start-ups at the time of World IT Congress in Hyderabad in 2018.

Telangana state became as one of the leading states in the country which will promote innovations and it is taking up the works to develop country’s biggest technology incubator. It will assist the start-ups with management, technology and legal aspects of setting up with the help of Indian School of Business (ISB), the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT –Hyderabad) and NALSAR University of Law and other organizations.

Telangana government is also planning to set up an innovation fund with Rs.10 crore initially which will be ultimately scaled up to USD 100 million. Tata Capital is also committed to invest large amount to run start-up incubator T-Hub.
