Chennai: Star couple Suriya and Jyothika has donated 100 items to Chennai Gives campaign, which was created to donate items for poor and needy people.

Tamil actor Suriya is not only a super star, he is someone with good heart and he is also well known for his charity works apart from his acting. As a part of his charity works, actor Suriya has announced along with his spouse Jyothika that, to donate 100 items to Chennai Gives campaign.

Chennai Gives campaign was created with an aim to collect items from all the celebrities as well as from commoners to donate them to poor and needy people.

Suriya is one of the super actors in Kollywood and he has good image in Tollywood also. The actor rocking the big screen from two decades and he is super stardom actor in South cinema. The iron man of Kollywood who has won millions of people’s heart in South has started charity works with an inspiration of Telugu Megastar Chiranjeevi. With motivation of Megastar the actor has initiated Agaram Foundation which is providing high quality education and equal opportunities to the under-privileged children.

The actor initiated the Agaram foundation with an aim to bring significant positive change in the socio-economic status of rural children. However the actor Suriya is presently busy with working for 24 movie which is directed by Vikram Kumar and also doing an extended cameo role in Pasanga 2. Apart from acting Suriya is also producing films under 2D Entertainment.
