Muslim Raza academy issued fatwa against Oscar winner music composer A R Rahman and Irani filmmaker Majid Majidi over the making of “Muhhamad: Messenger of God”.

Shockingly a fatwa has been issued on Oscar winner and pride of Indian cinema music director A R Rahman and a famous Irani filmmaker Majid Majidi over their film on the life of Prescient Mohammad. As per reports, Raza academy has issued a fatwa against both of them for titled the film as “Muhhamad: Messenger of God”.

The movie title looks like it presents Islam in a bad light and that Muslims have rejected this film. The group even claims in the fatwa that the title of the film is intolerable as people might use it in a wrong manner which insults the Forecaster.

The Raza academy, which initiated the fatwa also alleges that the actor working in the film have charged money for it and the nature of their character can be questionable too.

The fatwa even asks them to read kalma again and honor their marriage once more. Further it urges the Muslim community to judge the film and stage protests against its screening. The Raza academy is even seeking Home Minister Rajnath Singh and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj’s involvement in banning the film in India.
