Chennai: Indian Hindi, Tamil film cinematographer Natty or Natraj says that comparisons between two films will spoil movies on whole, better to be individual on thinking for one itself.
Natty @ Natraj is the cinematographer for ‘Puli’. He made his comeback as hero in the movie ‘Sathuranga Vettai’. But later as his movies ‘Katham Katham’ failed, he went as a cinematographer. As ‘Puli’ is wrapped up, Natty @ Natraj opened on the movie and during the interaction he got furious when ‘Puli’ was compared with ‘Baahubali’.
He said, “I am happy to be part of ‘Puli’ team. The movie will give a new feel to Kollywood audience. We shot movie in dense forests with special permission. During most of the shooting we happened to encounter snakes, elephants and other wild animals.
I request everyone not to compare ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Puli’. Both the movies are different stories and were made in different making style. Art Director Ramalingam has worked a lot and has created some mind blowing sets. The movie has some entertainment elements and they will be enjoyed by everyone.
I have used lots of color tones in the movie. I should have worked with Vijay during ‘Jilla’, but I was busy in Bollywood movie ‘Holiday’. I am happy as I got the better chance.” The movie is slated for a release on October 1st in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages.
