Chennai: Latest Kollywood news revealed that Sarabham fame Salony Luthra is to star in upcoming Vinodhan movie that is directed by Victor Jayaraj and produced by Prabhu Deva.

‘Vinodhan’ is an upcoming movie which will be directed by debutante director Victor Jayaraj. The film is funded by Prabhu Deva under Prabhu Deva Studios banner. Debutante Varun is doing male lead role and Vedhika pairs opposite him. She will be doing role of a 60 year old and a school girl in this movie.

Shooting is happening at a brisk pace and now the team has a latest addition, ‘Sarabham’ fame Salony Luthra. However she will not be doing the lead role, but the director confirmed her role is highly important to the script.

Regarding Salony’s addition Director Victor says, “As I said earlier the movie will be a new genre and we were looking for a good female lead for an important role. We finalized Salony. She is doing a very substantial role and she will be the turning point of the script. Her role is highly crucial and her performance will be the talk after the release. It will be a special performance. I know Salony earlier as I had trained her for Sarabham.

I had thoughts before narrating the story as she was just doing lead roles these days. But I narrated the script and I was a bit hesitant whether she would do this. But after having read the script, she was quite excited and expressed her willingness to be on board. I am sure her performance will get her all accolades.”
