Chennai: Super Star Rajinikanth has been warned for doing a role of Tippu Sultan who is considered to be anti-Tamil, BJP government warned him before accepting the role.

Recently Kollywood has taken by surprise as it was touted that Life history of Tippu Sultan will be made in a huge budget and it will have Rajinikanth in shoes. This news came as a surprise for everyone as historical movies grab attention of everyone these days.

This mega budget flick will be funded by Kannada Producer Ashok Kenny and confirmed that Rajini was interested in the movie but later he was unable to act due to some health problems. As he is completely fine now and has also done ‘Lingaa’ he said that he will soon meet Rajini and grab his bulk dates.

From Rajinikanth’s side we heard that he is focused only on ‘Kabali’ right now and doesn’t have any plans for future. But news itself created controversies, earlier it was ‘Hindu Munnani Iyakkam’ leaded Rajagopalan to oppose this movie. He said this movie will face severe consequences if it is made. He also threatened that they will protest before cinema halls if the movie will have a release.

Now ruling party BJP and other political parties too have issued threat to Rajini that he will face dire consequences if he acts in that movie. BJP has called Tipu Sultan “anti- Tamil” and thus Rajini should not take up the project. The National secretary H.Raja said Tippu Sultan was a murderer and making a movie on a murderer will never be allowed.
