Telangana: First recruitment test of Telangana PSC for appointment of 931 Assistant Executive Engineer posts is to feature the test paper General Studies in both Telugu and English languages.
As per latest updates, general Studies paper for AEEs exam will be in Telugu language and it is an online test. All are objective type questions and nearly 30,782 candidates in General studies in Morning Session and Civil Engineering in the afternoon sessions. Commission Secretary Parvathi Subrahmaniam said, “There will 150 questions each in both papers but the general studies will have a maximum of 150 marks and civil engineering 300 marks. The general studies paper will be issued both in English and Telugu”.
The authorities arranged strict checking and security for organizing exam smoothly and prevent mass copy issues. The candidates will be leaped physically at the entrance to the center, and then their finger prints will be taken by biometric method while entering the building.
A web photo of the candidates and their hall tickets will be taken as they entered the hall. The photo and hall ticket will be displayed on the computer screen when they laid their hands on. The commission has also arranged one invigilator for every 20 candidates to ensure that there was no imitation. The invigilators will also take physical signatures of candidates.
The exam will be held at 75 colleges in Hyderabad, four each in Karimnagar and Khammam and six in Warangal. The test will be held for recruitment of AEEs in municipal administration, rural water supply and panchayat raj, roads and buildings and irrigation departments.
Though the commission was established in December, it received marks to conduct exams from the government in July end.
