Chennai: Recent release Trisha Illana Nayanthara movie director opened up in an interview about the controversies and rumors for this Kollywood movie starring G. V. Prakash Kumar, Anandhi and Manisha Yadav.
Trisha Illana Nayanthara is finally released after lots of barricades and hiccups. The movie is labeled as male chauvinistic and misogynistic. Critics and audience responses are oscillating from ‘Good’ to ‘Bad’. No clear picture is available as of now. The Box-office reports will be known only on Monday.
Amidst these Anandhi too is against Director Adhik for spoiling her homely image. Regarding all controversies, and the movie getting some negative reviews, Adhik opened up. He said,
“Even before we start the movie, we planned this movie will get ‘A’. And while shooting the movie we never targeted women, and the movie is just from a virgin boy’s perspective. We made this script with what is happening in current scenario. To be honest, I was shocked to see families in theaters. I already made a statement that, ‘Please do not come to theaters with your families’.
Our team crafted this movie with a motive to target Youth audience. As we expected, we received the ‘A’ certificate happily from the censors. We never went for reconsideration. We promoted the movie as ‘A’ and we don’t want to misguide the audience. Anandhi clearly read the script and she knows all the dialogues she has to speak right before the movie started. But now she is making a big fuss out of it.”
