Chennai: Dhanush is planning to release Vijay and Nayantara starring Naanum Rowdydhaan movie by October 21 to avoid clashes with big movies for Diwali.

Director Vignesh Shivan is making his second entry as director with the movie ‘Naanum Rowdydhaan’. His first movie ‘Podaa Podi’ was an average fare at Box-Office. Vijay Sethupathy and Nayantara are doing the lead roles. ‘Kaththi’ fame George.C.Williams cranks the camera behind the lens.

National Award winner Sreekar Prasad handles the cuts. Parthiban essays role of antagonist. Anirudh has scored music. RJ Balaji, Radhika Sarathkumar, Anandraj, Satish are part of the cast. The movie is funded by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films and the movie was completely wrapped up.

The team is happy with the overwhelming response they have received for the two single tracks which have been released. The entire album consists of 7 songs and the entire Audio will be released by first week of October. A trailer of the movie will also be released along with Audio release.

We hear from bankable sources that Dhanush has decided to release the movie by 21st of October to avoid clashes with Diwali releases. Dhanush is well-aware that Kamal’s ‘Thoongavanam’ and Ajith’s ‘Vedhalam’ will dump ‘Naanum Rowdydhaan’. His own movie ‘VIP 2’ might also get a Diwali release. So to avoid clashes, he has preferred to go with 21st October which is a safe bet. Official confirmation will be made shortly.
