Hyderabad: Upcoming India’s first 3D stereoscopic movie Rudhramadevi starring Anushka Shetty directed by Gunasekhar will be released only in Telugu language as of now.

‘Rudhramadevi’ is India’s first 3D stereoscopic movie and the project was made in Tamil and Telugu as bilingual. Expectations were high as it was made on a lavish budget just like ‘Baahubali’. The film was slated for a release on May and the movie got repeated delays due to delay in post-production phase.

Director Gunasekhar crafed the movie and Isaignani Ilayaraja composed music. Anushka has done the female lead role as Princess Rudhramadevi and the supporting cast includes stellar cast of actors like Allu Arjun, Krishnam Raju, Rana Daggubati, Vikramjeet Virk, Prakash Raj, Adithya Menon, Nithya Menon, Baba Sehgal and Catherine Tresa.

The team somehow completed movie and censor formalities are done recently. The movie was confirmed for a release on 9th October. Promotions also started on all leading networks and Paper ads confirmed the same.

But now we hear that the movie will not be released in Tamil Nadu. Only the Telugu version will be released in Andhra Pradesh, exact reason behind this delay is unknown. At the same time Anushka’s ‘Inji Idupazhagi’ which is produced by PVP pictures will be released on the same day. Today’s paper ads in Tamil Nadu showed that ‘Rudhramadevi’ will just have a release on October and the date was not mentioned.
