Chennai: Upcoming horror movie, Sowkarpettai starring Srikanth and Raai Laxmi in lead roles and directed by Vadivudaiyaan under Shalom Studios production banner will be released in 3 languages.

Kollywood is right now caught in a web of Horror movies. Most of the horror movies taste success and they also get easy access in neighboring states. This is the main reason why most of the producers prefer Horror genre. ‘Maya’ is the best example in recent times.

The movie entered profit zone right on its third day and Telugu version ‘Mayuri’ also had a good run. Now in similar lines, there comes another horror titled ‘Sowkarpettai’. Srikanth who was last seen in ‘Nanban’ and Raai Laxmi are doing the lead roles.

The supporting cast includes artists like Vivek, Saravanan, Sampath Raj, Suman, Kovai Sarala, Vadivukkarasi and Singam Puli. Music is composed by John Peter. This is his debut venture. John Max and Jones has produced the movie together under the banner Shalom Studios.

‘Thambi Vettothi Sundaram’ fame Vadivudaiyaan directs the project. The movie has Na.Muthukumar and Viveka as the lyric writers. Now we hear from sources that the movie will be having direct releases in Telugu and Hindi. The movie has been titled as ‘Sowcarpet’ in Tamil, ‘Begum Beta’ in Telugu and ‘Tantra Shakthi’ in Hindi.
