Chennai: Bharath, Bhanu Sri Mehra starring Simba movie is a black comedy and the story is told from a dope-head’s point of view, said the debutante director Arvind Sridhar.

Bharath is a leading actor in Kollywood. But all of a sudden due to bad selection of scripts he disappeared. Most of his movies failed. The actor was last seen in the film ‘Ainthaam Thalaimurai Siddha Vaidhiya Sigaamani’ where he paired with Nandita Sweta.

As the movie failed, he became patient in choosing scripts. Right now he has two projects under his kitty. They are ‘Simba’ and ‘Ennodu Vilayaadu’. ‘Ennodu Vilayaadu’ will be a multi-starred subject. In ‘Simba’, Bhanu Sri Mehra, who acted alongside Allu Arjun in ‘Varudu’ has paired opposite Bharath.

‘Simba’ is directed by debutante Arvind Sridhar. Regarding the Tamil film Arvind Sridhar says, “The movie is a black comedy and the story is told from a dope-head’s point of view. This movie will just be a narration of the relationship between a dope-head and a dog. Bharath essays role of dope-head. At first he was not confident of doing the role.

But after a week’s time he got merged with the script. Premji Amaren reprises role of a dog ! He will be wearing a dog suit and will interact with Bharath. The character is completely Bharath’s hallucination. This is definitely a new genre for Tamil audience.”
