Chennai: Director turned actor Mysskin who is doing lead role as villain in upcoming Tamil cinema, Savarakathi has finished first half of shooting.

Mysskin made his directorial debut in 2006 with Chithiram Pesuthadi. Then he directed movies like Anjathe, Nandalala and Onaayum Aattukkuttiyum. So far in his career ‘Mugamoodi’ and ‘Nandalala’ were the only flops. He was last seen as a director in the movie ‘Pisasu’.

The director is now back. But this time he is back as an actor. He is doing role of villain in the upcoming movie titled ‘Savarakaththi’. This movie will be directed by his former assistant. Priyamani was supposed to do the female lead, but she walked out at the last minute and Poorna replaced her.

G.R.Aadhityaa who was Mysskin’s trusted associate is making his directorial debut. The screenplay will be taken care by Mysskin himself. Mysskin is doing role of antagonist. Director Ram and Poorna are doing the lead roles. The team recently completed the first half.

Mysskin wanted to see the rush for the first half before entering the second half. So Mysskin has made some rough cuts and has show the first half of the movie to his friends from media. They have praised the movie has said that the movie is a new genre and different one for Mysskin. The director is now shaping up the second half
