Mumbai: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar will be seen in a new avatar in his upcoming Hindi movie Rustom directed by Tinu Suresh Desai.

Akshay Kumar is on cloud nine as his movie ‘Airlift’ is getting more response. The actor is happy as lots of people are praising them. The first look and trailer was completely showered with praises and accolades. Now he is ready to act in his next movie ‘Rustom’.

This movie will be set in the late 1950’s period. The movie will be produced by Essel Vision, Cape of Good Films and Kriarj Entertainment. Vipul.K.Rawal has penned the story and the movie will be directed by Tinu Suresh Desai.

This is his debut venture too. Regarding this movie Shital Bhatia of Friday Filmworks said, “The movie is set in back drop of 1950’s and Aksya Kumar’s character Rustom will be seen in a new avatar.

We can’t reveal much. But I can say that the story is inspired from real life incidents. Ankit Tiwari is the music composer. Santosh Thundiyil is the cinematographer. Right now our costume designer has started his work on Akshay Kumar’s new look.”
