Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who are interested in applying for WBJEE 2016 mush have passed class 12 from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination from recognized institutions. Candidates should have individual pass marks in Physics and mathematics to apply for it.
Candidates those who are interested in applying for WBJEE 2016 to get an admission in Jadavpur University must have the minimum score of 60 percent in Physics, chemistry and mathematics. SC/ST/PWD/OBC candidates should have the minimum score. Candidates should pass in English subject with a minimum of 30 percent score.
Students who are interested in getting admissions in architecture Courses should pass class 12 with individual passing score in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/a Technical Vocational Subject (Engineering Drawing/Computer Science). Candidates those who are applying for architectural courses should also qualify in the NATA -National Aptitude Test in Architecture which is conducted by the Council of Architecture, New Delhi.
WBJEE 2016 Paper Pattern
WBJEE 2016 examination will contain questions from Biological Science, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Biological sciences are for 150 marks and remaining all for 100 marks.
Examination Centers
West Bengal Joint Examination board will conduct the entrance examination at various places across the state including Tripura, Agartala, Assam, and Silchar.
