Mumbai: Ox Star Studios and Bling Unplugged has announced the upcoming Bollywood movie Neerja release date starring Sonam Kapoor.

Sonam Kapoor has become a lead actress in short span by acting in both critically acclaimed and Box-Office success movies. The actress was last seen in the movie ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’. The movie recently entered the 200 Crore club like a boss.

The actress is right now acting in biopic of Neerja Bhanot who is a 23 year old air hostess. The air hostess gave up her life trying to save lives of 379 passengers who were hijacked on PanAm flight in Karachi during 1986. The movie has now got a release date.

The movie will hit screens on February 19, 2016. The movie is produced by Fox Star Studios and Bling unplugged. The venture is directed by the famous ad film director Ram Madhvani. The critically acclaimed actress Shabana Azmi essays role of Neerja’s mother.

After confirming the release date, Vijay Singh who is the CEO of Fox Star Studios said, “Ox Star Studios and Bling Unplugged is proud to announce that ‘Neerja’ will be releasing on 19th of February. Neerja is one of those unsung heroes of India and she can be an inspiration and role model for everyone. The movie is her story. This movie is also maiden production venture for Bling unplugged banner.”
