Chennai: Dhanush provided a relief fund of Rs.5 lakhs, similarly Vishal also gave Rs.10 Lakhs and Surya and Karthi gave Rs.25 lakhs each for Chennai rains.

Chennai Rains is one of the worst things which have happened in recent times. Most of the people are struggling to turn their backs to normal life. Water logs and swamps are in every street. Indian Prime Minister Modi already alloted funds of Rs.940 Crores as relief fund.

On behalf of Nadigar Sangam, the relief measures were already started. Arulnidhi himself came forward and distributed food packets and bed spreads. Executive council members were working together and they distributed grains, utensils and food packets to all the affected parts.

Apart from this, the sangam themselves collected money and Nadigar Sangam president Naasar gave the cheque to Chief Minister Jayalalitha. But as the rains doesn’t stop, the havoc continues further. The forecast department also announced rains will continue for next three days.

So actor Dhanush himself has came forward and provided a relief fund of Rs.5 lakhs. Similarly Vishal also provided Rs.10 Lakhs. Surya and Karthi gave Rs.25 lakhs each. The entire amount was provided to Nadigar sangam. And through Nadigar sangam, it will reach Chief Minister Relief fund.
