Once again Yuvraj Singh strike a bonanza at Monday’s IPL auction after Delhi Daredevils spent a record 16 crore rupees on the 2011 World Cup-winning all-rounder.

Yuvraj Singh, who failed to become one of those in the 15 member Indian World Cup team, raised his strength in making a record for Rs 16 crore Delhi Daredevils was almost certainly one of them. Yuvraj became one of the most appraisal persons to Gavaskar, who caught his emotions backs after being avoided by the national team for the World Cup. The 2011 World Cup-winning hero was not on Sunil Gavaskar’s pick out for the world championship but the previous test opener felt that the India door is not yet shut on Yuvraj yet.

Sunil Gavaskar said, “When one door closes, another bigger door opens and this is an opportunity for Yuvraj. He can still make a comeback to the national team and he has shown the resolve in domestic cricket,” in keeping Yuvraj’s ability in a view to attain his tranquillity and obtain the ‘World Cup axe on his chin’.

According to Gavaskar’s view, he feels like that Delhi is always in the need of a match-winner like Yuvraj Singh to build an impact in the present season’s IPL which is starting from April 8th. He said, “He is such a massive brand ambassador. Plus, Yuvraj will ensure that the Delhi fans are back to support their team.”
