Chennai: Upcoming Kollywood movie Rajini Murugan directed by Ponram has been postponed from December 4 due to heavy rains in Chennai, Tamilnadu.
Chennai Rains has caused more trouble to every resident living inside the city. The down pour has affected day to day lives. The rain continues and rescue operations are being carried out. Now due to this rains, the team of ‘Rajini Murugan’ has decided to postpone the release.
‘Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam’ fame Ponram has directed the movie. Keerthi Suresh has done the female lead role. Imman is the composer and the project is funded by N.Subash Chandrabose and N. Lingusamy under Thirupathi Bros banner.
Technical team includes Balasubramaniam for Cinematography and Vivek Harshan for editing. Samuthrakani will be seen as the villain. The movie also features a strong cast of actors like Raj Kiran, Soori and Robo Shankar. After lots of barricades, the movie was confirmed for a release on December 4th.
Now a press statement from Thirupathi Bros reads as, “Our production house’s movie ‘Rajini Murugan’ was slated for a release on December 4th. But due to the rains we are not releasing the movie. We will have a meeting with distributors and will announce the new date.”
