Chennai: On helping Chennai Floods, actress Samantha has donated a huge amount of Rs. 30 lakhs for helping victims and for Chennai relief operations.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu is one of the lead actresses in Kollywood. She is the first actress to respond on Chennai Floods and Donates whopping amount compared to all female actors. She has lots of movies under her pipeline. But none of the movies taste success. She was last seen in the movie ‘Pathu Endrathukulla’. The movie released with huge expectations and it failed.
She faced criticism as she did some obscene stuff. She was exposing her cleavage and she was trapped in controversy. Apart from that, her smoking scene created more problems. Lots of protests came around her. But she just kept muted response.
Now the Chennai Floods has bought all actors and actresses together. Hansika contributed 15 Lakhs. Kajal Aggarwal made her contribution along with Telugu actors for the fundraiser event ‘Madras Mana Kosam’. But Samantha was so quiet regarding it.
But now she is the only actress to provide huge contribution of Rs.30 Lakhs. The actress gave the cheque to Chief Minister Relief Fund. Dhanush tweeted, “Proud of you @Samanthaprabhu2 for donating 30 lacs for chennai floods relief activity.”
