The movie where Priyanka Chopra has done the lead role. The Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has demanded some cuts and now this has provoked filmmaker Prakash Jha.

It seems censor board has asked Prakash Kha to ‘Beep’ the word ‘S***@’ and few other offensive words from the movie ‘Jai Gangaajal’. The censor has labelled them as Cuss words. CBFC Chairperson Pahlaj Nihalani made it clear that those words have to be muted.

The censor has also asked Director Jha to make some 11 cuts in his upcoming cop-drama to get at least ‘U/A’. But Jha feels that if all those cuts are applied, it would definitely change the movie’s texture. Regarding this, an upset director said,

“How many beeps can you have in a film? s@al@ is a word we use in everyday conversation. My cop drama is set in the hinterlands. I am not speaking anything against Nation or Religion. I am a responsible filmmaker and I know my limits. They need to look at the context where the phrase is used.”
